Hello! I’ve had several emails asking where I’ve been and will I be posting again soon. First, thank you so much for reaching out to me and letting me know you want more! You don’t know how much it means to me. Second, yes, I will be posting more.

When I first started this blog, I had two purposes in mind: 1) I wanted to write about what I loved, and 2) I wanted to see if I could create an income from it. The pressure to make money from the blog eventually killed some enthusiasm when it wasn’t making what I had hoped, and I kind of felt guilty putting so much effort into something when I could be putting that into another area that would bring me the income I wanted. So, I took some time off to focus on finances, but I couldn’t let The Raven and The Lotus go! Still, I wasn’t sure how to approach it. Also, I have had several spiritual insights that have changed how I approach everything. Basically, I wanted things to settle a bit before I jumped back in.

I will be posting again. The nature of the content will probably not change much. I still want this blog to be a resource for information and insight, but I want it to have more of my personal perspective added. There will still be affiliate links (all Amazon links are affiliate— if you click and buy something from Amazon, they give me a small cut but it doesn’t cost you anything more) because the proceeds basically pay for the upkeep of the site. I only link things that I have tried or worked with.

No More “Goals”

There is no “goal” for this blog anymore. I’m letting go of the need for “Goals.” I want to offer great content of a spiritual and magical nature that is helpful and inspiring. I want to write about what I love. No pressure to make this my job! It is more of a calling. 

I also want to leave a little room for myself for some experimental posts. Things like stories and maybe artwork, or general tarot readings.
